Women’s Concealed Carry Class
This course is a great starting point for any woman who is curious about guns.
Even if you’ve never touched a gun, this class will take you from complete beginner to comfortable and competent!
The class is specifically designed with women in mind. It approaches guns, shooting and the concealed carry lifestyle from a woman’s perspective. You’ll find the content very relatable and easy to understand.
We spend hands-on time in the classroom to get you comfortable with basic gun handling before the range portion.
If you spent 6 hours taking an amazing guitar lesson but didn’t touch a guitar during that 6 hours how much would you really remember when you finally get that guitar in your hands? The hands-on portions are so valuable!
You’ll enjoy hearing the input and ideas of other ladies in the class as we discuss the topics. The class is interactive. This makes the day feel like it just flys by!!
We will spend the last 2 hours at the range for the live fire portion of the class. You’ll be so proud of yourself as you really put it all together.
There isn’t an “accuracy test” you have to pass. It’s all about demonstrating safe gun handling. That being said, we will definitely help you with accuracy too. I just don’t want you to worry that you will fail if you don’t get a certain “score” on your target. The only way to fail is being unsafe with the gun.
If you want to get a concealed carry license, this class will fulfill the training requirement for the Ohio concealed carry license. I organized the steps you’d take after the class here. I’ll quickly go over the process in class too.

What to Expect & What to Bring

| Classroom Materials: | All you need is your photo ID. I’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you. I will give you a folder with printed notes sheets and forms when you get there!
Optional: There is a book that goes along with the course that will be available for purchase in class. You may find it to be a helpful resource both during and after the class. You can take a look at it when you get there and decide if you want to purchase it. |
| Range Materials: | If you have your own ear & eye protection, feel free to bring it. If not, no problem! We have some you can use for free. (If you want to buy you’re own before class, I will say that I love these ones because they don’t fog!)
If you have your own gun, bring it along with at least 50 rounds of ammunition. (Having an extra box of 50 rounds on hand if you feel like shooting more doesn’t hurt!) If you do not yet own a gun, I don’t necessarily encourage you to buy one before the training. I can provide you with a .22lr pistol and ammunition for only $10. We will discuss how to select a pistol as part of the training. You will be better equipped to make a purchase choice after the class. |
